I play the Steam-versions of games. (see the screenshots №0) Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius - ver. Beta 7.2 + RESTORATION PATCH (downloaded from sunrider-vn.com/sunriderpage/ ).(see the screenshot №1) Sunrider: Liberation Day - ver. 3.01 + DENPA EDITION (downloaded from sunrider-vn.com/liberationday/ ).(see the screenshot №2) After completing the game (MaO), I have created a save to import to LD. (see the screenshot №3). At the same time in the "C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\persistent" folder create the file "Sunrider".(see the screenshots №4,5) As I understand it, this is the same save file. But, when I try to start playing LD, the game says that the save file was not found. (see the screenshots №6). I copied this file and all the files in the folder "saves" from folder where Steam installed "Sunrider: MaO" into the "Sunrider: LD"-game_folder and and folder "saves" this game. Also copy this file to the folders at "C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Roaming\RenPy". Tried to uninstall and install again both games and De-Censor_patches. In all cases, to import the save failed.
Right let's do this in steps just to ensure we are on the same wave length :
#1 - Close Liberation Day and Mask of Arcadius if you have them running. #2 - Go to \AppData\Roaming\RenPy\ . #3 - Cut the folder persistent and paste it somewhere as a backup (desktop, folder - your choice). #4 - You now no longer have a persistent folder in appdata, now go to your Liberation Day directory and within the 'game' folder look for a file called 'options.rpy'. Open it and change the value of config.developer = "*" to config.developer = "True" . Save your changes. #5 - Launch Liberation Day and on the main menu press 'shift + O' to open the developer's console, type in the command mp.save() and hit enter. It will say 'none' to confirm the creation of a new persistent file. (IF YOU GET AN ERROR LET ME KNOW WHAT IT SAYS) #6 - Close Liberation Day. #6 - Go back into your appdata and replace the newly created persistent Sunrider with the one we took a back up of earlier. #7 - Launch Liberation Day and try using import again.
