It will take some convincing but I think Sam would be open to a few hundred thousand plus development costs.

Legends of the Galactic Heroes is without a doubt one of my favourite space operas. Are you referring to the movies, one of the OVA series, or just the IP in general?

A second Academy game wouldn't necessarily have to be a proper sequel. Since Academy is not canonically connected to the main series there could be plenty of options such as another separate universe, a focus on another character like Fontana (I'll admit that's unlikely but I'm just throwing ideas out), or maybe a series of "what if" scenarios like REturn.
I don't necessarily think my ideas for this are really that great or likely, but I do feel like something could be done with another Sunrider Spinoff.
You could even use your idea of joining the space force but keep it independent from the first Academy all together. I do actually kind of like that idea.

I have to say Assault. Great for fighting Ryders and finishing off weakened ships. The Flak it provides has also saved me many a time.

I have nothing against Kryska (I actually like her quite a bit, ranking her fourth out of the main seven), but the fact that she's the only crew member who isn't interested in Kayto is one of the things that makes her stand out as a character. Although I'm not opposed to a Kryska romance, I do understand what you're saying. For reasons similar to that which you have stated, I would be completely fine if she turned out to be non-romanceable. One of my reasons for why a romance shouldn't be completely off the table is that I think seeing her relationship with Kayto build up from what may seem to be complete disinterest would be interesting. Either way I definitely say we need to see some more of her.

Kryska was the only one of the crew who didn't get a route in Return actually. Claude technically didn't have a route either but she did have a secret ending.

With a good story (and fanservice) maybe she'd climb the waifu popularity contest table Sounds like a pretty solid strategy to me! I would like to see Kryska get a little more screen time at the very least. I love the scene on Ongress with her in MoA but I feel we don't get too much with Lt. Blue Hair other than that. To be fair she was introduced fairly late into FA, and LD was primarily focused on Asaga and Chigara, so there isn't exactly much time for her. I certainly like her as a character so I'm all for some more of her. Everyone's waifu deserves a little love!

If it's the level I think you're talking about, I believe you have to get the Sunrider to the right edge of the map to escape and complete the mission. emoticon_asaga2_small

All votes Icari so far, sounds about right to me. I do however like to imagine Sola would have an unnaturally high alcohol tolerance. I just want to see her quietly drinking seasoned bar patrons under the table.

Not mods that appeal to me personally but I still love the video.
Asaga's "beautiful Body of Justice" is pretty much the greatest thing I've ever heard. emoticon_asaga2_small

Actually im interested, is this poll is focused on the graphics of the eyepatch/bionic eye, the effects of Ava having a bionic eye or Is this thread based on what happened to the legion and peoples opinions on which option is superior.
I assume the answer is all three at once but I would like to request some clarity. When I first made the poll I was mainly thinking if people preferred Ava aesthetically one way or the other, and what effects could come from the eyepatch/bionic eye. However I was fully expecting the thread to spawn conversation about the legion, which choices we all made, and if we're happy with them. So pretty much all three at once.

Maybe I was an idiot but I was under the impression that that 'eyepatch' was actually the bionic eye itself. I also thought of this possibility myself. I figured the two white dots could perhaps be some sort of lenses or maybe sensors or something. It could very well just be an average eyepatch though. Then the question shifts to if Ava has a cybernetic eye under it or not. Its like a Conglomerate Mystery story! I'll get the popcorn!

Do you like Ava with an eyepatch? Is it more difficult for her to see the stack of unfinished paperwork on your desk? emoticon_ava2_small

This is as cool as a cantaloupe! The various ships flying around are great but I was only expecting them to move horizontally. The ships and Ryders flying in from the foreground took me by surprise, nice touch!

I personally prefer her plugsuit in Liberation Day, it just blends more nicely with the rest of the crew than the green.

I am also looking forward to Starnova, although coming from the Sunrider games, I'm not sure what exactly to expect. Im curious as to what the forum will be like after the release of Starnova. I imagine there will be some people in the opposite situation of having played an idol VN but not sure what to expect from a mecha strategy game.

I think you could argue that it's a VN. I've recently started playing Re;Birth1 for my first time, one of the best remakes of a game I've ever played.

I honestly think Sunrider is in a pretty good spot right now. The way I see it, Sunrider is now finally ready to open up to have a more branching story than it did in previous instalments. Although I didn't personally want to choose Chigara, I did think it made for a great narrative. I know many people didn't like the forced romance with Chigara, but think of how hard it would be to carry out completely different story routes throughout MoA, LD, and games still to come. I see the forced Chigara part of Sunrider as a sort of prologue or common route if you will. I believe the series now has lots of potential going forward to expand on player choices and differing outcomes.
