To be honest, this beta is kinda massive, isn't it? I've just started battle 8, I think? (the one after spoiler enemy), and it seems there's another battle besides that one, and almost all have been very massive. I'm pretty slow at fights, but there's definitely a very big chunk of content (sometimes even a tad suffocating; I think in total I've already gone past the 30-40 Assault Carriers...).
Well, while I still won't be finished, I'll probably try to post my impressions (at least in respect to gameplay) tomorrow, because doing it the day before release is not cool. Been very nice, but I can't help but feel the entire release date seems a tad rushed; this is a commercial release, not a free game, so people have the right to and will be harsher. Also, there has been typos from the first beta still not corrected... (seriously, court marshal?)

vaendryl : Something that I have being curious about with the changes between 12.4a and 12.5 now looking quite heavy and no further beta builds planned - are you going to be okay internally testing all these changes before release or do you want a few of us to skim over it before it goes live? Good question! I will expect an equally good answer. Been very nice, but I can't help but feel the entire release date seems a tad rushed I sort of wish there was more testing time to be honest but then again I guess that is partly my fault for not joining the team until beta 11. *Awkward foot shuffle. I like to think that we have pinned down the majority of issues in this version but I have a nagging feeling that there are still interactions undiscovered or that might be created as a result of version 12.5. In my mind there have been enough flags in beta 12 that there should really be at least one more beta just to iron out and confirm that the testers cannot confirm anymore bugs and therefore efforts can be focused on optimising. With the release literally just around the corner though all we can really do now is as much late minute flagging as possible and hope that Vaendryl has enough caffeine to get him through a few more nights of work.

We'd have missed a ton of things in this beta otherwise. If I only kept looking at what we've lost and who we have lost/or didn't join/or strayed away throughout these 2 years (First Arrival being released in July 2014), I'd be a very sad panda lol. Yea I pretty much feel the same, and yes we'll just do what we can for now. Ideally I would have wanted a little more content, maybe a couple of more battles (yes I know I'm greedy but this is a commercial release and people tend to expect more) and all major plotlines fairly well tied up. Also all promises made on Kickstarter fulfilled or coded as close as possible.

Its been a pleasure working with everyone on here and hopefully we will continue to have many wonderful chapters ahead. Yea I pretty much feel the same, and yes we'll just do what we can for now. Haha yeah I am having a break for one final super session towards the end of the week so that my attention is at its best, if there is anything left we will find it comrade. I think that is pretty much a given as we have seen the same content for a while now, not that it is a bad thing but it does leave you hungry for more. Saying that I deliberately have been playing the beta mostly in 'ensign' so that when we do get to release I still have a challenge left.
