I'm still feeling a little raw to comment on the storyline side of things for Liberation Day. So I'm going to focus on the mechanics side of things which is what I'm mostly good for anywayWith no changelog, no link from the Liberation Day store page to a manual (the wiki) and no display of armor/shield mitigation and number of pulse/missile hits, it's going to be difficult for new players to catch up. So here I'm making a list of things which have changed since MoA or beta 12.4a (yes there are still a good number of undocumented changes that no tester has seen previously) 1)Liberty's Aim Up now grants +25 accuracy instead of 15. Tooltip was wrong and has been addressed by Vaen for next patch 2)Bianca's Atk Up now grants +30% damage instead of 20. 3)Battle tweaks from beta 12.4a to Release version 1.00 a)1st battle: now has 1 less Pirate Ironhog and 1 Pirate Destroyer and is very much simplified. b)Cera Gunboats no longer purchasable for 2nd battle c)2nd battle: No order available for first two turns
Will update as I go along. Might take a while though.

I think Suppress Fire also changed from 12.4 to 1.00, I remember hearing some things about it.

I think Suppress Fire also changed from 12.4 to 1.00, I remember hearing some things about it. From 12.4a to Release 1.00 the duration on Suppress changed from (1) to (0) and the en changed from (50) to (30) - the benefit only really applies now on the turn in which you use it.

had a look through code on github to see what else has changed all buffs including repair should now have infinite range. Pact support still have a range limit of 3 for their repair ability. not sure if that will stay that way. (not if I can help it) PACT destroyer has had its SuperRocket cost increased back to 60 (from 30). sunrider MIRV is unchanged at 30 en. enemy blackjack had its HP buffed from 800 to 1600 and its money reward nerfed from 800 to 300 the boss now has a move cost of 5 instead of 30. not that I think it matters much as the AI isn't made to move around a lot. who needs to when you can spam AoE? its max en is increased to 140 which could be scary. it's armor was nerfed from 30 to 15 less important stuff: added hotkey numbers to the weapon buttons. I also modified the Assault animation a bit and repair penalties are now shown upon player unit death. upon completing the game just before the game returns back to the main menu the game will create a new folder named 'game clear save' containing a file called game_cleared.dat. the purpose of this file is a mystery.

I actually was saved lots of times because I put him in a bad position through liberal use of Gravity Gun, and forced him to move to get a good shot. Now however, it can move and still laser everything and use rockets 2 times in a turn if it doesn't move. Oh, and the Phoenix has a live expectancy of less than 1 turn... In the old version I actually waited to get the reinforcements of turn 8 (even it doesn't mean anything, traditions are traditions!), but now I will probably have to take the Drath way and pummel it to death in 5 turns if I don't want to get utterly wrecked.

upon completing the game just before the game returns back to the main menu the game will create a new folder named 'game clear save' containing a file called game_cleared.dat. the purpose of this file is a mystery. I get the feeling you are trying to hint that the crew of Sunrider did survive the events of Liberation Day or at least that their deaths still require the recording of affection for something confirming what Samu said previously. Your sneaky little game_cleared.dat details affection (and morals?) values as well as the following decisions: [/b] The one that caught my interest was: captain_prince - so I guess this means we are to expect interactions and choices based around Crow eh? Come on Vaen, one sneaky look at the script - I won't tell anyone. [/ul][/spoiler]

Come on Vaen, one sneaky look at the script - I won't tell anyone. Actually, prince is just the opposite of a moralist: i.e. the other side in the morality axis, named after Machiavelli famous book (not the battleship...) So, for example, if you sink the Legion you get +5 prince points, while if you don't you get +5 moralist points.

Ah that makes sense. Poo'y - there goes that theory, or more it makes it a little less likely. all buffs including repair should now have infinite range. Pact support still have a range limit of 3 for their repair ability. Just had a test look in game and it looks like the PACT Support does indeed now have infinite range on its repair too. Looks like you have quite a few tool tips you need to update.

I did spend some time rewriting some tooltips not too long ago xD
