I've been pointed to Just Deserts, which is a military-themed VN. Feels sort of like Sunrider, although the quality seems lower. Well, it's something. Hmh, I was quite enjoying the premise of this game until I discovered how much lucky pendants are worth in addition to how common they seemed to acquire. It led to me to been able to purchase the majority of weaponry and armour in one go which felt insane considering I was only a few days in. Should probably try and finish it at some point so I can collect my thoughts on it...Keep ending up distracting myself with Grisaia.

I saw that too. Is there some sort of trend with the white haired, emotionally detached girls being the sniper of the team?
Otherwise, I'd like to hear if its worth picking up. The enemies seemed kind of... basic, but the girl's designs seemed to be pretty good over all.

Her impact on the genre has been so huge, in fact, that in Sunrider she has not 1 but 2 spiritual daughters.

Somasam : I'd just about recommend it based on what I have played so far although like you have said it is a fairly simple game (the combat mini-game included) so keeping expectations neutral going in is important. There are multiple character routes, cheesy dialogue, a few elements of stat management and it features a English VA cast (which is always nice to see). It's the sort of game some players can stick through to see all endings while others may be put off my the repetitious gameplay after a certain block of time. Saying that £6.99 (over here at least) isn't too bad to simply just give it a try and see how you feel.
