options.rpy: style.default.font = FontGroup().add("Fonts/ShareTech-Regular.ttf", 0x0020, 0x007f).add("Fonts/NotoSansCJKjp-Medium.otf", 0x0000, 0xffff)
jp script.rpy, japanese.rpy: remove - script should be in tl/japanese
tl/japanese/script.rpy: (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=638327203) # game/script.rpy:567 translate japanese prologue_cosettedead_a9a21b8f:
# Everyone "Copy that!" "Everyone" "了解!" tl/japanese/screens.rpy, tl/japanese/common.rpy: either remove or translate - as it stands now it completely removes parts of text from game like "Do you really want to exit" prompt etc - imo it's better to have it in English if you don't want/don't have time to translate it than removing it.

Should be interesting, according to a random ask.fm question he doesn't understand Japanese. Googletranslate it!

Hehe, got to take advantage of 'professional' tools where you can.
(I promise this will be my last bit of derailment for the evening):

Update for new release:
- Remove desktop.ini (It became somewhat of tradition seeing that desktop.ini from Google Drive... Consider using Git? It sure is easier than GDrive when developing) in tl/, tl/japanese, lib/ and few other places
- this really is important as it specifically changes strings like "Q.Save" or "Quick save complete." or even "Ignore" "Rollback" "Quit" from Ren'Py debug interface(!) to "" [empty string]
- japanese.rpyc (curiously, .rpy was removed)
- this is not required but you'll avoid having to manually switch fonts when changing language.
