So I have been playing since the first Beta or Liberation Day,
I had concerns from Day 1 and they were confirmed when 1.0 came out

Unlike the last games, it felt that this game was completely on rails, there was no major choices that would affect anything except for 2 "in the beta" and it looked like one was removed ? Or did i somehow miss it even though i played through twice , Can other Beta testers confirm, when when i played the Beta and you still has the wish all stone, you could actually activate it and not interfere when Asaga goes completely bat shit crazy and literally KILLS Cosset rather then capture her, in my 2 playthroughs I watched for the option to pop up as i still had the wish all but it never came up, did i somehow do something wrong? Or was that actually indeed removed for some reason.
Don't get me wrong, i do not want to kill her, she is actually fighting for my favorite Sunrider girl, along with Sola and Asaga (I am really torn between the 3....)
Anyway the only other real choice you make is weather or not to scrap Cosset's ryder.
Other then that you are literally reading our a story on rails with some space battles in between, and something that i just cannot understand..... Why was Cosset not used more ?!? Ok she is in the opening, then she rots in your brig for the entire game until the very end when she has to save your ass and then runs off?! I was SOOO looking forward to having her as a part of my crew, i mean she was features on the opening sequence, she is on the title screen, you would think that she was going to have a bigger part then what she did
And the ending...(again this is of 1.0) I felt like crying because i felt let down, i love this series so much, i love this game, i am so invested in what will happen next, and to have the ending that we got? I literally quit the game and in rage and started playing Stardew Valley.....
now when i heard of 2.0 i was skeptical, how much would they REALLY change.... So i once again took the helm of the Sunrider, this time i did not bother reading any of the story until it got to the end....Again my Cosset ran away from me
(although i wish i would have chosen to scrap her Ryder, would that have forced her to stick around?....hurm i wonder...) However i was pleasantly surprised, so many questions answered, so many plot holes filled, the TRUE traitor revealed, things that did not make sense now made PERFECT sense. Did 2.0 make the game Perfect? No, far from it. HOWEVER it does show that they listened to us, they know that we were upset with their game and they want to make it up to us, this makes me hopeful for the future games. And the fact that they finally opened up the romance was a breath of fresh air, i liked Chigara however she was never one of my choices during MoA
That being said...... I WANT COSETTE TO JOIN MY CREW!!!
