Now that version 2 has improved most of the trouble spots, I think it's time we turned our attention to everything else (BTW when are the voices for the version 2 story content coming out?).
The battles are certainly more interesting and better now.
A greater variety of enemies, I liked all the new pact units and eventually fighting the alliance in the last mission. Vanguard Cannon actually useful outside of waifu mode. The new hireables were great too I really made lots of use out of the Gunboat (it has Flak, and it can make Kinetics hit a target better, overall more useful than a Union Frigate) The Union Battleship was fun too, it was mostly a big armored tow truck that had horrible weapons for a battleship but good armour, but the Grav gun that could affect ships was very useful The Phoenix' Stealth actually being useful, Icari's no longer a load in battles. You can actually send her to kill PACT supports and bombers, Being able to buy AP rounds for the Blackjack made her Awaken ability more relevent and useful, but I miss the speed upgrade. Finally being about the use the Havok was a treat too...It's just a shame we didn't get to use it earlier.
I did however miss all the close up mecha animations...(however if they were still in but skipable that would be better)
The R&D seemed a step backwards it was MUCH harder to reader, but on the flip side I liked the colour coding for the store items.
And both the Store and R&D seemed slow unresponsive sometimes.

I think it is safe to say that this will not be happening (at least any time soon), the recording session for the VA'ing finished during Beta 11 and unless they are over in Japan recording lines for the next installment (and decide to polish up LD) I don't see it being justified as a worthwhile trip when those resources could just go into the next game. It's a shame but as the 2.00 content was not meant originally for Liberation Day it is the position we find ourselves in. I'm still holding onto the hope that there may be a community soundpack at some point in which this (even if a bit silly) could be addressed. Edit: Welcome to the forum.
