Another spirit of the subsection thread for all you bookworms. In terms of reading I am trying to finish 'No Game No Life' vol 3 as the 4th is just round the corner now and I keep getting distracted before I can make any considerable progress. I don't actually have a great deal in terms of a collection, 42 volumes in total but I hope to get a few more the next time Wordery have a discount event. In terms of my favourite in that stash I would have to go with Monster Musume as I tend to skim through it when I need a mood booster (a very daft series). I guess for argument's sake we can also include visual and kinect novels if you are running low on ideas hmm?

In terms of manga n' stuff, I'm currently reading some 4-koma as well as Shokugeki no Souma. I am eternally reading Gunslinger Girl, however, and I want everyone ever to read that. I also like reading web novels and light novels howeve,r and I think my favorites of the bunch I'm reading right now are Mushoku Tensei (the redundancy chapters at least, sicne the main series ended) and Hikaru ga Chikyuu ni Itakoro. I also am reading a bunch more of the "transported to another world" series. The silliest one I like is Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, thouh it's very basic and it is so light-hearted and devoid of real conflict so far it's there for laughs. Since I'm currently living in Jpan, I don't relaly have access to really any new American/Western novels without paying a lot more for it, but I'm a re-reader so it's cool. I like the Kingkiller Chronicles the most. I'll re-read dat stuff till the end of time. My favorite Visual Novel is Planetarian, followed by Tsukihime, Fate/Stay, and (oddly, imo) Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate. Sharin no Kuni is also great. I just finished reading Eden, and I wasn't actually all that impressed by it. It's still good tho, and is on sale on Steam. It's worth a read. Pretty short as it's a kinetic novel that lasts about 8 hrs unless you are delibereately going slowly.

The cliffhanger in the anime adaptation was mean, I haven't felt that way since I originally watched the film Inception and groaned at the ending. Man am I jealous that you are currently living in Japan where more volumes (if you can read them) are available, vol 4 of No Game is due to release in the West in March while I believe Japan is on vol 8/9 maybe more. Fully recommend picking it up if you haven't already.

Since I've recenlty finished reading Pandora's Heart the only manga I'm still reading is Nisekoi. Well, and Berserk but I'm not really sure it counts anymore >_>

Oh, I forgot.
The volume 1 of Legend of Galactic Heroes (the original book) was out 1 month ago, and it's good. It's also very prosaic in its prose (to the point some could accuse it as being bad from a literary standpoint) so it's very easy to read. Would still recommend seeing the anime if you have to choose between one of the two (it's probably one if not the best adaptation I know), but the book has some hidden gems too.
