So I just bought Liberation day, however the game doesnt seem to import my save file from MOA properly. I dont know if its the same for the choices. But when I fight my first battle against the pirate "fleet" it appears that the sunrider has 2400 hp although I didnt upgrade it that much, Sola cant double fire her kinect and only has 110 energy, Bianca shield generator only covers 1 range while liberty's shield does cover 2 range like I upgraded, Asaga only has 800 hp although in the final battle she had 1000 hp. I can go on like this for a while, but you get the point. Is it meant to be this way or has there been a mistake? I already went back to MOA a few times and each time imported the correct save. Can some help me?

Mostly balance I would think. If you kept all your upgrades, by the end of LD you would be absolutely unstoppable. The other issue is upgrades would be massively varied coming from MoA as money was used for items and repairs as well, even without taking into consideration how many side missions were done. It would be almost impossible to calibrate missions to be hard but fair.
If enough people want it I might make a mod to do that, but it would entirely wreck the mission difficulty. Alternatively I have ported MoA into LD with an option to cheat and keep the ship upgrades. It would need another playthrough to actualy reach LD though, and it is not entirely bug free (although I have managed complete playthroughs on it)

Thanks for the answer, let me know if you ever make a mod for that though it would be a lot of fun to be so overpowered
