these things really look like a corrupted download if verifying cache doesn't work I recommend deleting all files and downloading the game again.

since it's complaining about a sound issue maybe you should try updating sound drivers?

Hmmm for reasons unknown, some people have audio issues with renpy games unless they set both Liberation Day and Steam to run on administrator mode. Of course, it could be a sound driver issue as well.
