Same problem with Ava, the problem I had was that when she has a eye patch it doesn't unlock. I restarted the game (that is quit to desktop then start application again) and directly started [RE]turn Ava route. She then didn't had a eye patch and CG was unlocked when happy route was finished.
vaendryl would it be possible to have a scan over the script for the flags in regards to eyepatch Ava in REturn? There is a similar current issue in the mecha cg list with the base game that was flagged via the Steam community (a user called Jikorge):
So that cg needs a check called ava_sickbay to be true, but no such check exists in the actual script of the game. It's instead called ava_sickbaytalk. This means that no matter what you do, you cannot unlock that last cg without editing the script itself. All I had to do was remove talk, and play to the point where you check on Ava after the first fight and boom, final cg got and 100% is mine.
Maybe it is a similar issue as this eye patch does like to cause trouble?
unlocking CG's is done automatically by renpy, i.e. there is no additional command in script to unlock them that we use. just having them displayed once on screen automatically unlocks them. I also never really looked into the gallery too much as Sam made them and I don't really understand the arcane ways of copy-pasta code going on there
it seems to me the issue is not so much unlocking going wrong but rather that the eyepatched and non-eyepatched versions should both be in the gallery seperately because as far as renpy is concerned they're totally different CG's and won't unlock both when one is seen.
Samu-kun may be able to explain to me how to do that.
