Julie Watanabe and Mariya Yamamoto are my favorite idols right now. Hard time choosing either one, but considering Mariya has a significant lead, I'll go with Julie for now. Mika Hashimoto also has a shot too.
Like some have said above me, I like the more mature and older appearances they give off. Though to be fair, the smoking and drinking do turn me off a good deal from Mariya, hopefully that is something that can be addressed in her route.
As clove has said, I am also noticing a distinct lack of green in the waifus for not just Starnova, but the flagship series Sunrider as well. Closest we got is Asaga's eyes and the paladin. (Salute to the blue-haired-one!)
Over all, due to this being a new IP, I have not really made any significant attachment to any one girl yet. Only time will tell.
(And now I can't tell if I'd rather see Cullen be a bumbling rival producer/CEO of the company. Or as a bumbling janitor.)

I liked Ava on Sunrider, but somehow I like Aki more this time. I think it will be an interesting girl to work with XD Sasami could be nice, but I found the voice a bit out-character. Maybe it was the association with that picture. Something similar with Nemu and a bit with Mika  Anyway, it's funny to have Claude Nemu. Her story could be a nice surprise. Is she a relative, a clon, a transdimensional form of Claude? I like the idea  I just hope the story is long enough and the price adequate so the game doesn't get many bad critics. They already know how difficult could get if they need to make some fixes on the story afterwards with a game containing voices Anyway, and even it's not sunrider, I hope the best for this project :-) |

Fake (or real) Claude, gender flipped Fontana and... is this Star Guardian Jinx from League of Legends in her young ages? Moreover we have a mix of Ava and Chigara.
My vote went to Sasami. Normally I go with the red hairs but I'm not the loli type, so yeah. Her story wasn't yet that much appealing to me to make up for the loli type (like Emi could in Katawa Shoujo). I always had a weakness for the reliable nice girl from next door with the hidden story. As the red hair route is locked this time I go with the vote for Sasami.

Waifu Wars: First Impression Edition, this is either gonna be really easy or really hard. Aki Kashiwaga: Cosette has stolen Asaga's body however her affliction carried over. One of the few who actually was a star. It would probably be easier to rebrand her than go after her old fans. Julie Watanabe: No Sunrider character connection I can tell though, maybe Sophita. Her difficulty is believable, and might be easier to let her sink -_-Mariya Yamamoto: A comment pointed it out to me, she resembles a male character in Sunrider. About 11 years of attempted experience. Similar to Aki I feel she has a good shot at success. Mika Hashimoto: ... someone who wishes she had a destiny like Sola's :3 . Probably just needs some self discipline to willingly train and would at least get a niche audience. Natsuki Tanabe: The remembrance of Asaga's spirit floated into a country folk creating this. Seems she might also have some Sunrider Academy Asaga story in her too. -_- Sasami Shimazaki: Young Ava saw Chigara's hairstyle and couldn't resist herself, perhaps even more. Out of all of them, most chew toy like, this could be bad.  Nemu Akimoto: NO! Depending if she, a relative, or a stranger looking like her. The similarities in character could be coincidence, fan service or story. Either way will most likely be last route I test if given the game right now; as she is to damn perfect. Veniczar B. Cullen: Little do we know, he is actually a part of a very popular boy band. Top 3: Not Cosette (still voiced by best space pirate), Mariya (not a feminized Fontana, nope), and Not Sola (who isn't voiced by Sola, so~~ really not Sola, huh) Winner: Cosette (Aki), she's actually a main character this time (third down the page, Chigara held that position in LB). Though Fontana (Mariya) almost had it. Hell I might change my vote to Mariya later on depending on what Samu releases. Now that I've been playing the game … seems to be a lot of Icari Isidolde in Julie Watanabe. |
