I know how hard it is to make games and do art and stuff. Something I noticed recently: missing Ahoge on all the Asaga sprites (but not the CG) (look at the top of the forum even and you'll see) I found this out while looking at the screenshots from the beta's for LibDay (don't ask why I was digging through those folders again. <_< ). The sprite themselves used to have it, and it reflected in the CG, even in the current game. But, when you took it off her head after beta 10, taking it off of 9 individual sprites was easy. Taking it off of maybe.....20 pieces of CG is indeed harder....and time consuming...and costly.... How many people will notice this? 1.....and whoever else notices this. How many people will this bother? I have OCD but I'll live. Now, aside for being a Capt. Obvious, I am mainly here to ask a simple, but important question: Why (did you remove it/want it removed/have it removed)? What lead to the removal of such a small thing, and what other factors caused this? Was it framing? Positioning? She had too much going for her already? It's something that I'd like to know as a designer. Wow..making my first post just because this really bothered me too, actually. Despite being the artist, I didn't even know about it! I thought I was going crazy because I could have sworn her sprite should still have an ahoge. I had to double check my files, she definitely still has the ahoge in my sprite files.
So I had to ask Sam about it.. apparently he removed it from her sprites without telling me. I had no clue, which is why the CGs still have the ahoge. He said the only reason he did it was because it was "too hard to take her seriously" with it. That's it.
How rude, now that's going to bug my OCD as well hahah! But yes, I guess he did it pretty late into the game so he didn't bother telling me because he thought it'd be too much work to change the CGs.

I suppose we can look at it as another of those alternative universe factors considering she had the ahoge in Sunrider Academy but not in Mask of Arcadius or Liberation Day. Maybe we should pressure Sam to have alternative Asaga replace main timeline Asaga in some dramatic way aye?Could also be spiritual, shows that she has matured since her teens.Edit: Man I didn't read the post properly, I see what you mean now that I have had my morning coffee and had a proper look at the assets. Nice spot! Out of context, it does look like Asaga was about to kiss her reflection.
