Hello, firstly I'd like to say thanks to the developers for creating a great series/universe! The entire concept is very compelling and reaches far wider than most games try to do. I won't lie and say the game is perfect, far from it, but it is nonetheless one I have enjoyed greatly, enough for someone like me who doesn't post on forums to actually do so! (For example, I have over 10k hours (Sigh) on League of legends, yet I have not even bothered to browse their forums.) As a person who first tried out Sunrider when only the first free chapter was out, I wasn't too impressed but it caught my intrigue. Now a couple years later (or has it only been a year?) I come back to a finished installment and even a second game! It was very exciting for me as I'm a big fan of space/mecha stories and it even had a turn based strat portion of the game. Everything I could ask for honestly.
(Slight Spoilers)
I am not one of the people who seemed so dissatisfied with Chigara being a forced romance, with the way the story panned out I do feel it fit well enough for me not to complain. Surely I would have preferred the option of choice, but in my opinion it was not needed, especially considering how the story pans out with plenty of opportunity for that to change in the future. Even in real life, romance isn't eternally binding, so there's no reason things can't change in future installments. But I digress, on to the main point of topic.
(End of Spoilers)
I will be 100% honest, I am probably not going to play Starnova (Except Maaybe once through for the character which looks like Sola, my favorite char of Sunrider.), why you ask? Because games like this hold next-to-zero interest for me. However I will absolutely be buying the game. The reason is the same as stated in the title. I think loveinspace has made something wonderful, at least for me and my tastes, and I wish to support them in all endeavors thus forward to see another (and hopefully more, hehe) installment in the series. I well understand they have no obligation to do so, and probably won't even read this post. However if by chance someone does who has connections with the devs, the next time you see them please let them know that they've earned a permanent customer because of the Sunrider series, and I will happily support them in all future endeavors.
Endnote: Personally I could go without the eroge part of the game, It's not why I play sunrider or enjoy it. The Story, universe itself, developing friendship/romantic bonds, and even the clunky combat are far more valuable than a few naked images. Thanks LiS for a game compelling enough (for me) to actually have me anxious to see yet another installment!
