So, I am in a Discord server which is centered towards VN and the owner, me and another user has played the games, however I got a message from the owner today and he believes Fallout inspired the Holo technology from Sunrider, his reasoning is Fo3 came out before Academy and Liberation day. First of all, I refuse to agree with him on this, just because the games have hologram technology doesnt mean its inspired by fallout and second of all, he wont change his mind until dev tells him that Sunrider has nothing inspired by Fallout.

If there is anyone responsible for the Sunrider games on this forum. Can you confirm that Fallout did not inspire the holotech from sunrider

I'm afraid I don't really understand this comparison, holo can be quite a lot of things from computers aboard the Sunrider to the holovision headwear used in Academy. It's one of those classic devices used to show how convenient technology has become in comparison to the reader's current age tech.
I wouldn't as an overall subject attribute holotech to the Fallout universe as stereoscopic and/or holography methods are hardly unique to only Fallout and pop up frequently in science fiction in general (by the same logic predating the 2008 release).
It is still a series I'm pretty sure we've all played and enjoyed (although I prefer New Vegas) and that we're aware of that universe's use of technology, but Sam (writer) has never specifically expressed inspiration from Fallout 3 so I'm going to say no.
