Need help from the group to make a translation

I made the personal Chinese translation for Sunrider series and have a small group of Chinese Sunrider fans. Recently someone in the group asked me if I could also translate Starnova. I was unable to do so because the game is “packed”. The Renpy inbuilt translation function could not generate translation from such files.


I know this game has already released for years and maybe the group does not want to make changes in the game anymore. However, if there is any chance that the group wants to add Chinese translation into the game, I would be glad to do the translation part, like what I did for Sunrider.


Since this time the game is packed, I could not extract the lines on my own. Thus, I need help from the group to get it started. There are several options:

1. Send me the dialogue file, either in .rpy or .xls form, and I can do the translation on the file.

2. Send me the “unpacked” game file, and I can use renpy inbuilt translation function.
