First off, just wanted to say thanks for Love in Space's hard work. The beta was frustrating (vanguard cannon cost) but also a lot of fun. Looking forward to the final game.
Bug: During the fight with Alice, using Awaken on Sola subtracts the 75 hp cost, but not the 100 energy. So I could awaken and fire in the same turn, which was great, but probably not what you wanted.
Minor technical issue: When skipping through combat, the reaction voices start playing after you've finished skipping. In one battle, Chigara was targeted by missile strikes, which I sped through. When I let go of the ctrl key, all her reactions to the missiles then played one after the other.
Minor issue: After patching to 12.3, the title screen says the game's on Version 12.1.
Suggestion: I know Alice's backstory is told via the Veniczar companion novel. But for a player who hasn't read the novel, Alice shows up out of nowhere; it's not clear why she's there, why she's special, what her importance is, etc. Just as Cosette had her Ongess moment, Alice could use an event to flesh out her character in-game.
Typos follow. Marked for spoilers.
