As the title says, this will contain spoilers from LibDay, MoA, and Academy. Read at your own risk!
Ladies and gentlemen, Liberation Day is almost upon us. However, over the course of the betas and other games, several questions have presented themselves. Over 12 betas, we have gotten no closer to identifying:
1. The Prototypes main goal. Is their interest in humanity in general just to use us as cannon fodder against the "Ebon Fleet"? Or are they looking to recreate one of the short stories from I, Robot, where the AIs take over and rule over humanity for their own sake?
2. Just what is the Ebon Fleet? References in both MoA and Academy seem to hint at it being Ryuvian Remnants under the command Crow Harbor, but as far as we know it could very well be Tyranids, errant Space Whales, some other xeno race, or perhaps something more sinister.
3. Forget the Ebon Fleet and Prototypes, just where does the political situation of the galaxy currently lie? While Fontana and Grey seemed to be getting along relatively alright right before the betrayal, the last time we saw them in peace talks, they broke down very quickly. The PACT and Alliance may still wish to continue the war after Cera's liberation. Also, can we even determine if they are still alive? I went back and counted the number of times Chigara fired her pistol at the end. Unless she put all five of the rounds into Shields, we have to assume that she also assassinated Admiral Grey and Veniczar Fontana. This assumption is also supported by the fact that she said "All of you... can die now...". I interpret that as he first shooting Shields then turning her weapon on the various PACT and Alliance leadership present.
4. How long Sola was actually frozen in cryo for? The initial evidence says that she was frozen for several thousand years, but Claude's report suggests that she was only frozen for a few months at most. Which one is it? Both have very unsettling ramifications for both Sola and the Sunrider in general. Especially if this "Ebon Fleet" are Ryuvian remnants.
5. Will we ever find out what Claude's past was? With her dead (as far as we know) there is no way to ask her, and she has always been one of the biggest secrets of the game. Finding out more about her would help answer many of the questions that people have, especially regarding Chigara's status (Prototype or Human?)
