Good to have centralized forums. To start the ball rolling on issues, just wondering if the website download has been updated to v7.2? (Last checked a month or so ago, it was still at v7.1) sunrider-vn.com/SunriderMaskofArcadius-all.zipIf it has, then kindly ignore this message. If it hasn't, I think it's high time to get it done. Yes the vast majority of players will download from Steam and get automatically updated to 7.2. But there is a small group that experiences persistent file corruption(?) from Steam for some reason. See: steamcommunity.com/app/313730/discussions/0/527273789694313169/And of course there is also a small minority that are just plain allergic to installing Steam for whatever cause. Therefore keeping an alternative direct download from the website updated to the latest version 7.2 would be nice.

Ahem... so I fixed this, and also fixed the annoying bug where you couldn't upgrade laser accuracy in R&D. Vaendryl should upgrade the Steam version to the latest build using the new download. >>>Be careful not to accidentally upload the uncensored content to Steam. 10/02/2017: Update to Site Version

It's nice to see everything centralized (and Drath never wasting time).
On another question: now that you have the end of Liberation Day in sight (or at least that what it seems from your comments on Twitter), do you already have an idea if you want to continue supporting MoA with some upgrades, simply sporadic bug patches or leave like it is?
...or are you in Lib-Day-mode and you'll need at least one month of break to even start thinking on anything else...?

do you already have an idea if you want to continue supporting MoA with some upgrades, simply sporadic bug patches or leave like it is? I'm really not too sure if there is too much else to be done for MoA at this stage after Samu-kun corrected the energy accuracy bug. The laser/pulse 10% degradation per hex has been implemented, additional items (ie Gravitino Generator) brought to bear, AI rockets have been fixed, AI movement and shooting has been fixed, enemy melee has been fixed, etc, etc. Can't really complain, we've gotten quite a bit out of 7.2. Anything I would change after 7.2? Well seriously I'm not terribly keen with messing around with balance too much at this point. Previously I was arguing for Full Forward to be nerfed to +10% damage as originally planned. But seeing as we are not getting that for Liberation Day, I think it looks weird to just implement it for MoA. Nerfing FF and AG duration to 4 turns on the other hand is fine for me, as it's only 3 turns in Lib Day. The other two major points in balance I can think of would be: 1)Nerfing laser/pulse to bring it closer to Liberation Day - this should be done IMHO though truthfully I've NOT seen anyone else bring up Pulse being overpowered apart from Histidine and myself, so I'm not sure if it really has much of an impact on most people's games. Also if we're too harsh, we're just inviting more complaints on difficulty. Games generally start hard and then get progressively nerfed to get more casuals, not the other way round lol. So yea I'm fine with just reducing the amount per upgrade for energy cost reduction from 7.5% to 5% as it is in Liberation Day. It's not game breaking to have energy cost upgrade multiplier stay at 1.8 or number of Pulse shots to stay the same. 2)Giving carrier spawns some energy instead of zero - I might argue to give assault carriers and carriers spawns half energy so that they're not complete sitting ducks as they are now. Not sure that will sit well with the others though. I do believe you had a point there when these were originally suggested but once again, I think it should be tested a bit before being implemented. It also doesn't fit well with Liberation Day now, where spawns are still zero energy. Apart from that well sure there might be a few odd typos leftover (like "stuck a deadly image", "Behomian Maiden") but by and large, the text is fine. And maybe some random crashes that could be prevented by tightening the code (again pretty hard to trace and correct these).

I have a save file from 7.1a; once the download link updates to 7.2, will it be compatible with the new version and allow me to import to LD?
There doesn't seem to be a changelog of the changes for 7.2 anywhere so would like to confirm.
EDIT: Not directly related to MoA, but I believe that while LD offers a way to initialise stats if not importing a save, but from what I've seen, the list felt incomplete compared to the actual number of decisions in MoA. Will I miss out on anything should I use that option instead?

The save file might work, but you never really know. It's mostly random.
You won't miss anything if you use the LD decision inputter, but the very dedicated might be able to maximize a few more affection points by exploiting some decision combinations in FA and MoA.

I wonder if i'm somehow doing something impossibly wrong. Steam version is still 7.1a, so I downloaded from the website, and it's also 7.1a. Feeling the itch to go back and play it all through again, so I want to make sure i'm still up to date.
EDIT: FIXED IT. Don't know what's up with the download version, but I know why my Steam version was still an update behind. I had to turn off the beta thing. I wondered why it still had the beta tag in my library.

Hello. I don't know if this thread is still the right place to post, but I downloaded Mask of Arcadius from the main website download link yesterday, and got version version 7.1a as seen in the main menu and in the log excerpt below. I'm downloading the box.com version right now to check if it's the intended release. I still haven't completed the game, however. Thu Jul 21 21:18:22 2016
Windows-7-6.1.7601-SP1

I believe you are right, the main site is still using the 7.1a version however you will be able to download 7.2 through either Steam (by default) or the app.box link.

Personally I would close the game and delete what you've moved into the folder so far. Then go back into the .zip and select both files (archive.rpy + censoreddata.rpy) and drop them into \Sunrider\game once more.
Once you have done this you should just be able to boot up the game and 'restoration patch detected' will appear in the bottom left hand corner.

I figured it out, it had to do when I reset the computer somehow the install place got different than the original install. Never mind me, derping out over here
