Some one said they rest only started to tell him that they had feelings for him is only after he became single, and didn't even mourn for Chigara.
There is only one character that had the metaphorical balls to risk being turned down by the guy she liked, when she knew he was pushing people away. while the rest did not do anything untill he was hurt, alone, and would want almost any one to come close to him.
Chigara is best because she is proactive, takes the risks that other people didn't, even if she isn't well liked by Ava, Asaga, and Sola fans. ((mic drop))

Well let's be honest Chigara is loved only by her fans xD. But i indeed wonder if she will ever have a route in the sequel after all she is bound to be like one of the main antagonist more exactly the psycho yandere mind hive who will most likely try to kill all the others heroines. About the routes for LD i'm still a bit pissed off by the fact that Claude didn't get a route when she is like Kayto side kick during LD. In the end i'm still 100% behind Ava ! but still hard to choose between Empress Icari or Claude for my number 2. Also about what rajen1122 said i be to differ, at that point when she told him she loved him in fact anyone would have been good as he was in the kind of places where he needed someone the most. So she was only the fastest and also dude you remember your relationship with another woman (Ava) when he is supposed to love Chigara, to me it was made pretty clear that the one he wanted to be with was Ava all along. |

My thoughts are as follows... Ava: The woman Kayto deserves. Asaga: The woman that deserves Kayto. Sola: Needs 8 billion hugs. Claude: Walking spoiler. Chigara: Was boring, now scary. Icari: I can understand why she has a cult. Might join up myself... Kryska: Best comrade. Cosette: We share a goal. Methods... not so much. Alpha: Not all bad, I guess. Still creepy. Ghost Maray: Incest AND Necrophilia. Sophita: Vaendryl, I'll be your wingman. Lynn: Probably going to become Chigara's new body. Kuushana/PACT admiral lady: I'd gladly serve under her any day... I can't believe I'm saying it but I'm not entirely sure I'd be opposed to a harem route after all... |

I think I should expand my opinion on this. Waifu war can only be worth it with the walls of text. Sola: in MoA she was a decent pick, after 2.0 and 3.0 LD she restored her awesomness and now easily takes a lead. After all, she has nothing to be ashamed of, which is rare.
L7NN: 2.0 certainly made her suprisingly good waifu. I would even go for Kayto-L7NN ship (as if Alpha is trying to ressurect her plan to make Kayto ruler of the universe), which would result in interesting development and romance (like Kayto trying to convince L7NN that she is in love with him not because of hivemind). Also that sneaky/smug face is good. Still, its all fantasies, so Sola for number 1.
Maray: incest is best, but she is dead.
Asaga: she downgraded herself so much in LD, but that was before 2.0. Now she is almost the Savior, because she was right all the time. More on that later.
Ava: her romance is good, however it is better when it is in the past. She rejected him, he rejected (if choosen wisely) her, now they have memories and feelings unrivaled to that of any other pair. They being together as a lovers is just ruining this bittersweet picture.
Claude: route in 3.0 is interesting to the degree of creating a game for it. Nothing more to speak of.
Chigara: I do not believe that prototypes has a free will, thus putting any faith in her is stupid. She was boring in MoA, and even good in LD before the Liberation of Cera (because her shittiness was washed off by her loyalty to Kayto). I even thought that she was shot when hell got real. Now, all I can say to Kayto is RUN. And Asaga has +146% to reputation due to 2.0.
Kryska: it would be more fun if she got shot that day. There is nothing to speak of here.
Icari: if only she had some actual action besides being gay for Kryska... Her story is good and I was expecting more of her.
Cosette: living blob of crap. Burned her in the start without reservation.
Others do not worth mention. |

She used "I" to reference herself rather than referring to herself in the third-person, thus taking away any gripe I had with her. Progress! Also, she is probably going to come back to life in a new body after defeating and maybe even partially absorbing Alice's essence. Think about it, she would have the worldly outlook of Alice without the crazy mania, along with all of her combat prowess built up since the PACT Revolution. But she would still be Chigara were it counts, being kind and caring for her friends, Kayto and even perhaps humanity. She and Kayto can open up the bakery, and maybe hire all of her sisters to man a galaxy wide network of bakeries. Dominance by Sweetness! At first I was in the Icari camp, but she and Kryska make such a cute couple that I just shipped them in my head and never looked back. |

Personally, I really like Chigara, and hope that she'll get a happy ending that's not confined to the alternate timeline of Sunrider Academy. Anyways, my ordering would probably be something like:
1. Chigara
2. Asaga
3. Sola
4. Ava
5. Icari
6. Claude
7. Kryska (great character, but don't see any romantic chemistry with Kayto)
NO: Cosette, Lynn, or any of the other major female characters I can think of.

Have to add my two cents. Ava is much to bossy and domineering; Kayto needs TLC. Sola is the best choice, followed by Icari. Even Asaga would be acceptable before old bossy-boots Ava.

I kind of have to agree with your comments on Ava. I really don't mind her as a character, and Sunrider needs someone as grounded as her to keep things on track and reign in Kayto's more outlandish ideas and plans, but I think that she and Kayto work better as close friends and professional associates. Honestly, that path gives more payoff when it comes to Kayto deciding not to send Ava to get the Vanguard Cannon online at the end of Mask of Arcadius. He's not emotionally compromised because he still has romantic feelings for Ava; he's just unwilling to sacrifice a good friend and comrade for petty revenge, because (as he says if you choose that path) the Legion had already taken everything of his pre-ceta invasion life, and he wasn't going to let it take Ava too. Also, Kayto definitely needs someone gentle and empathetic, which is part of why I love shipping him with Chigara. As I went into in another post, there is no real basis for the notion that her love for Kayto was anything but genuine, and she's the one who helps him pull himself together during his severe emotional breakdown. I want to see other routes available in the next game for sure, but what I want the most is for Chigara and Kayto to get their well deserved happy ending. |
