You know... I never realized it until now, but the girls seem really, really causal about announcing that they love Kayto now that he's single. ...
What the hell are they, vultures?! Do they all really feel no long-lasting feelings about Chigara up and dying, to say nothing of how it happened?! Not even Asaga after she'd finally reconciled somewhat with her?! Hell, I think Kayto's the only damn person who mourned her at all - Claude's supposed death got more acknowledgement from the crew then Chigara's forced brainwashing did!
Either they all dismissed her as just a traitor or they figure she's still with them in the form of Lynn, but either way it still seems really abrupt that they're trying to jump into his bed just hours after he had his girlfriend die in his arms!

SharrOfRyuvia Everyone thought Kayto had died on the Sunrider, it is understandable that emotions were sensitive in the following scenes and everyone wanted his attention as he was such an important figure in their lives. With this in mind I don't think they are trying to jump into bed with him, more they are all trying to find comfort in him surviving. You do not realise what you have lost until it is gone. In regards to Chigara I am under the impression that this will be returned to in the next chapter, there was only so much they would have wanted to put into 2.00 without giving too much away for the next chapter.  At least this is how I read Liberation Day in its current state.

I swear, if she start's repeating my name over and over and over again, then saying:
"I'm h...a...p...p...y..."
"I feel g...o...o...d...."
"It hurts, Captian..."
or "IS DEAD"
in classic Earthbound/LISA style, I don't know what I'd really do. But it'd probably end with me dumping every ounce of lead, laser, torpedo, and vanguard cannon into diode until I no longer have a completely terrifying eldritch abomination looming over my shoulder with disturbing interest. Otherwise, I shall continue to support the grand blue-haired one. One of the two (Three if you count Cosette, but I don't cause she bailed on me afterwards) pilots who stayed with you through thick and thin, and carried me through my suicide mission. Though I am incredibly terrified for her safety, going back to the military that you directly opposed is a very, very low-survivability move. Considering her fear of even getting a mark on her permanent record, I feel like that will be the least of her worries. I do have to agree with Magpie, that ending with Sola has definitely moved her up the totem pole in my book. Though to be fair, all of liberation day and the 2.0 update have definitely made all the characters so much more likable. - Asaga, Sola, and Ava all got some great character development (Ava especially if you chose to sacrifice her, I feel it adds a deep and touching dynamic to their relationship.)
- Icari, Kryska, and Claude all got some good scenes and characterization. We finally have some dirt on Claude, which actually makes me care about her a lot more than the fact that she has a very fun Ryder.
- And given what's happened with her, Chigara (or my proposed name above) is in a very interesting position, and I am eagerly awaiting what will happen to her character in future installments.
Either way, the future is bright with quality waifu material, my friends. The only possible downside to all this is how difficult it will be to choose only one... |

well, Sola was n1 after Mask of Arcadius. but in Lib.Day her emotions felt like a step back (though I didnt see V2.00 Extended ending yet...) besides Sola, anyone will do with the exception of lil sis Chigara  |

My support is for the blue-haired one. Normally I'd be torn between Ava and Sola, but both and Asaga seem to be fine, and I want to add force to the "If Kryska and Icari must be gay then I want to be the filling in that sandwich" (I want my individual routes too, but I can probably be assuaged with that kind of direction).

Honestly, I like characters that starts as your enemies and I can relate to her backstory... It's kinda enjoyable to watch her rare interactions with Kaito and the rest waifus.
Was pleased to see Havoc in battle on our side. Even as temporary unlikely alliance.
Second, but non less lovable is Sola. But she already has plenty of votes here, so...
